Since Cub Cadet is built by MTD, MTD is the only one who makes a s-shaped center hole blade. So I was stuck by buying their $60 pair of blades. Lowe's sells them in a Craftsman's package and Home Depot sells them in a Cub Cadet package. Same poor quality blades. Copperhead blades makes a diamond shaped Center hole which slides over the s-shaped shaft hitting the S shape on the perfect points. Good job copperhead for outsmarting MTD. That's just good American strategy. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but just by picking them up they are heavier than the mtds and somewhat thicker. You can tell Copperhead is way better quality. Take that MTD and stick it in your pipe and smoke it!
